A common use for sealed gas cells is for wavelength calibration to the fiber optic communication industry. Therefore a major application is:

1. Many OSA manufactures build in gas cells for onboard calibration of the OSA engine. To our knowledge we are the largest supplier to this application. We can offer very competitive pricing and our gas cells are NIST traceable.
2. Another application is illustrated in the figure as a simple way to calibrate your tunable laser to NIST traceable accuracy of <1pm.

   

3. There are many applications for both fiber based gas cells and free space gas tubes in the chemical sensing area. An application in this area is illustrated in the figure below.
